This dress is such a gorgeous style, its designed to fit to the bust and under the bust, then flare out, not touching the waist or hips. It is perfect for if you don't like tight fitted items, especially if you get painful bloating and can't stand restrictive clothing.

Bust Support Information

The V-Neck Babydoll Dress has moderate bust support. It features adjustable straps which allows the bust triangles to be fully adjustable so you can tie them as tight as you want to which can provide good support.

The underbust is designed to be tight fitted so the bust support mainly comes from here as it allows the straps to be tied reasonably tight. The straps are crossover style at the back, they thread through tabs which are attached to the cut out on the back. This means that as the straps are tightened, this pulls the bust triangles tighter against the bust, providing support.

This style, however, is a plunging V-Neck style, so it isn't as secure as styles with fuller coverage. It is also tightly fitted to the underbust only, as opposed to further down the rib cage or to the waist like many of our other dresses and tops, which does reduce the amount of support it can give.

When we had our fuller bust model (UK GG / US and EU J) she was pleasantly surprised by how much support it gave compared to how much it looked like it would give.

The V-Neck Babydoll is designed to be the comfiest festival outfit that's still super cute and flirty. As the Babydoll is only fitted to the underbust and the bust is completely adjustable to your chosen fit because of the tie straps, you are guaranteed a comfy outfit that won't have you wishing that you'd chosen a different outfit.

The Babydoll was originally designed for people who suffer from painful bloating due to medical conditions, where it can be extremely uncomfortable to have any pressure on the waist as this can worsen the pain. This style doesn't feature a waistband for this reason, allowing it to flow from the underbust, over the waist and hips without clinging to the body. This style is also designed in a way to hide tummies - when the painful bloating starts, we know how self-conscious a lot of people can be! Because of the way the skirt skims over the waist, it follows the general outline of the body, but also isn't affected by changes of the body such as bloating, so its great for hiding this.

Because of how well this style hides tummies, it's also perfect for anyone who wants to hide their tummy for whatever reason that might be! We have had many people buy it to be able to drink at festivals without bloating from alcohol, a couple of people who were pregnant but didn't want to tell anyone yet, and so many people who just thought it looked comfy! It is also great for people who use wheelchairs as it avoids having waistbands that dig in after a long time of sitting.

One of the models has said it's one of her favourite styles because of how comfy it is. Another thought it was brilliant and made a comment that's really stuck in my mind - 'I could eat a whole Christmas Dinner in this and no one would know!'
